Praying Mantis started back in 1977 when Spanish-Greek brothers Tino and Chris Troy, founded the band and recorded a demo which received great acclaim in the british Heavy Metal scene. The famous DJ Neal Kay often played their songs and thanks to his support, three of the demo tracks were finally published in 1979 as a maxi-single entitled “The Soundhouse Tapes”. Another demo song was later included in the “Metal For Muthas” compilation, the same one

Hail Friends!

 We are almost 3 months before the festival and now we are ready to announce the ticket prices.

We worked really hard to keep the price ticket at the same level, despite the higher expenses this year.

The only difference is that both days wil…l have the same price as we believe that we will have equal line up in both days.

So ticket price for both days will be 29 euro and the limited 2 day ticket 50 euro. We will not announce yet which band will perform each day since there are 2-3 bands yet to be confirmed.

Chris Nelson of Phoenix Radio will be airing his ‘Top 25 Tracks Of 2009 show which includes Praying Mantis – this Saturday 9th Jan – tune in between 5.00-7.00pm UK time and listen out for us at www.phoenixradio.co.uk
