Praying Mantis's Discography

Last Modified On 28 Jan 2008
Praying Mantis reviewed by George Arvanitakis on 24 July 2001

Wow, that sure brings up some good memories!!!

This is the second effort of the Mantis boys on the NWOBHM history but the first official and available to the public release since "Sounhouse Tapes or Captured City 7''" was released for promotional reasons.

The 7'' has 2 songs the homonymous track which i'd rather say is one of the weakest songs that Mantis ever made, still there is a good underground feeling in it. The b' side was "High Roller" a rather weird song that was also written by Rob Angelo (ex-Iron Maiden).

As far as i know the 7'' got some great reviews and just for the history the very first copies of the single came with a t-shirt patch with the cover of the single...
