A new Praying Mantis release in 2011 to celebrate 30 years since the release of their critically acclaimed Album Time Tells No Lies. It’s a special limited edition EP called Metalmorphosis which include 5 songs of which Children Of The Earth, Lovers To The Grave and Panic In The Streets are from the original album re-recorded by the current Praying Mantis line up. Also available on this disc are the first single Captured City which track also got a place on the album Metal For Muthas which was released in February 1980 with other NWOBHM bands like Iron Maiden, Angel Witch and Samson. Also the track Praying Mantis which was also one of their first singles is present on Metalmorphosis

In 2009 we saw the band release Sanctuary and the reviews and feedback were fantastic. As a follow up and a celebration of 30 years of having the opportunity to perform, write and record the band has recorded Metalmorphosis. So old classic songs in new clothes. If you like the NWOBHM this EP is a must have. If you would like to know where some new bands got some influences from, Praying Mantis is one of those bands. Discover them or discover them again. Metalmorphosis will be available thru Praying Mantis website from 21th February 2011 as a special limited edition in a embossed digipack. The EP will also be available at the live shows throughout 2011.
