1. Children Of The Earth
2. Praying Mantis
3. Lovers To The Grave
4. Panic In The Streets
5. Captured City

2009 saw the band release Sanctuary, and the reviews and feedback have been fantastic.

As a follow-up and a celebration of 30 years of having the opportunity to perform, write and record the band have recorded Metalmorphosis…

Mostly songs of their critically acclaimed Album Time Tells No Lies, all re-recorded by the current Mantis line up.

The songs are new versions of old hits from the band. At first, we have “Children Of The Earth” that had originally been on the record Time Will Not Tell Lies, then find a fine song called “Praying Mantis” which came out in that time when NWOBHM groups had a song with the same name of his band.

The ballad “Lovers Of The Grave” put the decibel level down a little.

Thanks to the fantastic performance of Tino Troy, “Panic In The Streets” has all the power you had in the original version, but the finale is “Captured City”, a subject that was published in that historic document that was compiled NWOBHM Metal for Muthas, involving figures like themselves,Iron Maiden, Samson, among others.

Thus ends this EP, with mostly tracks from the album Time Does Not Tell Lies, 1981.

This EP, however, is simply too good to pass up.

Line up:
Chris Troy – Bass & Vocals
Tino Troy – Guitars & Vocals
Andy Burgess – Guitars
Benjy Reid – Drums
Mike Freeland – Vocals
