Help Wanted!

Help wanted on the following queries

Are you or do you know a past member of the band? I am always looking for people to interview. Especially people like Jon Bavin, Don Garbett and Alan Nelson.

If you can help with any information (or questions) please E-mail Jon

Do you have any reviews of Praying Mantis that are not included in my pages?

The first album refers to Lovers To The Grave being on the original
Soundhouse demos. When they were actually released though, it was “The Ripper” that was the third track. Was “Lovers” ever recorded this early or is it just the incorrect sleeve notes that keep this error repeating?

Fester Heep tells me he was
speaking to Bernie Shaw about a band called ‘Dangerous Curves’ that he recorded
a few demos with circa 1986. Does any one have any info on this?

M.G.MacMillan tells me
“Captured City appeared unintentionally on the Heavy Metal records ‘NWOBHM’
retrospective compilation LP in 1991. Credited on the sleeve as ‘Ambitions’ by
Dragster, I’m reliably informed that this is a unique version! How this happened
is a complete mystery, since PM were never signed to Heavy Metal at any point
and they didn’t have the rights to this track. Bizarre, to say the least.” Can
anyone tell me if this is true?

Does anyone know who the session drummer was on the Metal for Muthas version
of Captured City?

About

I have been a Praying Mantis fan since I first heard "Captured City" on Metal for Muthas. Time Tells No Lies has always been on of my favourite albums and I was overjoyed when I first discovered it was out on CD. I didn't know what had happened after the first album until in about 1994 I discovered "A Cry For The New World". I was worried about getting it as I thought it had to be a disappointment but I was wrong. I loved it and have followed the band and maintained this website ever since.
