Praying Mantis have announced they are to release a new single in October 2013. To celebrate the single and officially introduce new members, John Cuijpers and Hans in’t Zandt, they will play the Merton Manor 76 Kingston Road, Wimbledon SW19 1LA on 4th October. Entry is £8 on the night.
The band will also perform at Metalwave UK, Circus Tavern, Meads Corner, Purfleet, RM19 1TS on 5th October.
I have been a Praying Mantis fan since I first heard "Captured City" on Metal for Muthas. Time Tells No Lies has always been on of my favourite albums and I was overjoyed when I first discovered it was out on CD. I didn't know what had happened after the first album until in about 1994 I discovered "A Cry For The New World". I was worried about getting it as I thought it had to be a disappointment but I was wrong. I loved it and have followed the band and maintained this website ever since.

I remember the concert you did in Huddersfield in 1980. First night you guys had stayed in a hotel I believe. I took you all, plus Iron Maiden, of course, to my local nightclub, The Coach House.
Fun night, I have fond memories of it!
