Praying Mantis release a single to help victims of the Japanese Earthquake

The band have released “Children of the Earth 2011” from our 30th Anniversary EP “Metalmorphosis” as a download and are donating all profits in aid of the Red Cross Tsunami Appeal to help with the relief effort.

Without our Japanese fans, we would have no 30th Anniversary.

We have been monitoring the news of the Japanese tragedy with great sadness. We are all lost for words and we pray for all the people of Japan.

The single is available to download on CD baby.

In the event that we receive more donations to the Japan Tsunami Appeal than the Japanese Red Cross and International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement can reasonably and efficiently spend, any surplus funds will be used to help us prepare for and respond to humanitarian disasters both here in the UK and overseas. About

I have been a Praying Mantis fan since I first heard "Captured City" on Metal for Muthas. Time Tells No Lies has always been on of my favourite albums and I was overjoyed when I first discovered it was out on CD. I didn't know what had happened after the first album until in about 1994 I discovered "A Cry For The New World". I was worried about getting it as I thought it had to be a disappointment but I was wrong. I loved it and have followed the band and maintained this website ever since.
