Cheated (Bootleg CD MANTI 7982)

“Cheated” and “Turn The Tables”
Track list
The Soundhouse Tapes Part 2
- Captured City
- Johnny Cool
Metal For Muthas
- Captured City
Cheated
- Cheated
- Thirty Pieces Of Silver
- Flirting With Suicide (live)
- Panic In The Streets (live)
Turn The Tables
- Turn The Tables
- Tell Me The Nightmare Wrong
- A Question Of Time
General Notes
It has been suggested that this boot is a waste of time. You are better of
with Live and Singles. It has the Metal for Muthas track on it though. I have
heard of someone making a boot of Metal for Muthas so even that is of limited
value.
Marquee ’79(Bootleg CD NOVA NV-16)
Track list
Live At Marquee 1979
- Rich City Kids
- Lovers To The Grave
- Rock ‘n’ Roll Fever
- Johnny Cool
- Praying Mantis
Reading Festival 1982
- Nightmare
- Time Slipping Away
- Tell Me The Nightmares Wrong
- Enough Is Enough
- Turn The Tables
- Flirting With Suicide
General Notes
I have not heard this boot but I have heard the Marque stuff. This I suspect
is a crowd recording and IMO is poor quality (This has now been confirmed to
me). It’s OK but only for the Curious. Reading is reported to be better quality
than on Live and Singles which is a radio broadcast.

- Johnny B.Good (Dennis Stratton Vocal)
General Notes
I have had the following report “1991 tracks(1-5) are excellent soundboard
recording. 1990 tracks(6,7) and track 12 are very good audience recording. 1993
tracks(8-11)are good audience recording.” I wouldn’t be prepared to disagree. It
is all very listenable.
Tracks 2 and 3 are as the TV special except that Children of the Earth is
complete. Flirting With Suicide and Johnny B.Good are from the Encore on I
suspect the TV special night of 27th June 1991. Can’t See The Angels
is as the TV interview with Praying Mantis and Neal Kay
